1. Which is better top freezer or bottom?

A bottom mount fridge as the name suggests has the fresh food section at the top, while the freezer section at the bottom. While a top mount fridge is our regular refrigerator, where the fresh food section is at the bottom.

The bottom mount fridge is always recommended since the fresh food section that is used more often than the freezer section is easily accessible. Hence, the usual hassle of having to bend to find your fresh food items is eradicated. Thus, making it a better option between the two in terms of convenience.

Also, it is widely known that the freezer sections of a bottom mount fridge are much larger and more spacious than a top mount fridge. Hence, a bottom freezer fridge unit is your best bet if you have a large family or like to store a large stock of frozen foods on hand.

Altus’ Silver Bottom Mount Fridges as well as the White Bottom Mount Fridges are perfect for individuals or families that want these demands or needs fulfilled.

2. What are the different types of fridges?

Top Mount Fridge – is the type of fridge you would visualise if someone said “fridge.” This is the most common type of fridge model with a freezer section at the top and the fresh food section at the bottom.

Bottom Mount Fridge – is exactly the inverse of a top mount fridge. It has a freezer section at the bottom, while the fresh food section sits at the top making access to fresh food easy. This type of fridge not only has useful features but also can elevate the style quotient of your kitchen. A Stainless Steel Bottom Mount Fridge can transform the aesthetic of your kitchen completely.

Side-by-side Fridge - is basically a wider-than-normal refrigerator that is divided in half, with one half serving as a refrigerator and the other as a freezer.

French Door Fridge – is possibly the most versatile (and expensive) refrigerator design. A French door refrigerator is identical in width to side-by-side versions, and, like bottom mount fridge variants, it has a dedicated freezer space in the bottom third half.

Bar Fridge - although is not technically a category, it is a worthy mention because many people will definitely be considering purchasing one as the summer season approaches. A bar fridge has the advantage of being inexpensive to buy, convenient to travel, and they essentially do the job when it comes to keeping drinks cool.
